Changing Reality: Photo Recomposition

The model was too tall, and the barrel was too short, but the agency didn't find that out until the photo shoot. So what do you do, send everyone home? Not likely! You improvise some shots, shoot elements separately from the same angles and call Pixelfixer Inc. for a wee Photoshop® miracle.

We also put the stencilling on the barrel (digitally), created all new shadow detail (the photographer's floor was less than pristine) and swapped the model's hands with another shot chosen by the agency.
